Packaging

All purchases will be crated in custom built wood crates or packaged in cardboard shipping boxes (depending on the size of art and value) and are protected to ensure safe arrival.

Preferred Carriers and Info

UPS

• Signature upon delivery is required

• Packages arrive Monday to Friday during business hours

• Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment

• Insurance can be purchased for $3.00 per $100 value for artwork valued at up to $2500. This will be charged to the purchaser.

FED EX GROUND

• Signature upon delivery is required

• Packages arrive Monday to Friday during business hours

• Shipping Tracking number will be emailed to you to enable you to track the progress of your shipment

• Insurance is not available through FEDEX

OVERSIZED ARTWORK

• For crates or packages exceeding 150 united inches (length + double width + double depth). In these cases artwork will be shipped via a preferred freight forwarder.

• Insurance is available for a fee and will be quoted and charged to the purchase if accepted.

Damages

IMPORTANT

1. Upon receipt immediately inspect the shipment and note any damages to the crate or package with the shipping carrier prior to opening it. Take a picture of the damaged area and one of a full package.

2. Upon opening the crate or package notify LEYDAN Gallery immediately of any damaged or defective artwork by calling 1-519-9847413  or email at leylamunteanu@yahoo.com

3. Kip in mind that we are not a reproduction company, the artwork is done solely by the artist and the artwork is done on different stretchers, using a variety of materials, can be uneven so the piece is unique being handmade. Only one artwork exists so if you decided to buy it, you will get exactly the piece pictured

 

Shipments With-In Canada

GST / HST RATES

The HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) which includes the 5% Federal Portion and the Provincial Portions will be charged as follows, when shipped out the province of Ontario to:

New Brunswick - 13%
Newfoundland and Labrador - 13%
Nova Scotia - 15%
Ontario - 13%
Prince Edward Island - 14%

 

For the following provinces, where the GST (General Sales Tax) and the PST (Provincial Sales Tax) have not be harmonized, the 5% GST portion will only be charged on shipments out of the province of Ontario:

Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, North West Territories, Nunavut ,Quebec, Saskatchewan Yukon

 

All purchases made and shipped within most areas of Canada* will be shipped and delivered within 5 to 10 business days.

*Please Note: Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut could take up to15 business days

Shipments to the U.S.

All artwork is exempt from the 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) when shipped out of Canada.

Original artwork is duty free when shipping into the U.S. For artwork that is

A clearance fee is charged by the carrier to declare the artwork for US Customs:

• $25.00 for the first thousand ($1000) of value

• An additional $10.00 for every thousand ($1000)

 

All orders received will be packaged and delivered within 10 to 15 business days once it has cleared US Customs.

International Shipping

 

LEYDAN Gallery can offer international shipping to over 100 destinations.

For all shipments outside the continental Canada and USA a quotation will be provided once you have made your purchase or submit your inquiry.

 

Local Delivery – City Of Windsor

When purchasing online you can choose to pick it up at our main gallery or have it delivered to your door within the City of Windsor Essex Region limits free of charge.

 

Online Purchase Return Policy

We accept returns for exchange or store credit only within 15 days of receipt for original paintings and within 7 days for prints.

Artwork returned for exchange must be packaged in the same container as it was shipped.

All artwork returned for exchange must be received undamaged.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of purchaser.

 

Commissioned and Special Order Items

All artwork commissioned by you and special order items are final sale.

LEYDAN Gallery is not responsible for damages that occur during transit with the shipping companies; however we will ensure that the situation is resolved efficiently and effectively.
