LeyDan Award is given annually to artists active in the art world through public display. LeyDan Award is offered to the artists working in: drawing, painting, mixed media 2D, sculpture / installation, printmaking, photography and digital media.

 

The artists are preselected by the gallery curator, and invited to participate. A jury panel is formed and the applications are juried based on the documentation submitted. LeyDan Award is a distinction that is given to the best artwork selected in each media. Based on the award place, the artists awarded receives: an exhibition in Leydan Gallery from one to four weeks, all the artists will receive free exposure online, a certificate of participation, a pdf catalog with all the artworks and the artists participants, the possibility to buy a hard copy of the catalog at the price of production, all artists will receive a 10% discount on future events, contests and exhibitions.

 

A short review or critique (half page) of the works can be offered for a minimum fee of $30 only to participating artists as a complementary Gallery offer. For all other artists the fee for a full page review or analysis  is $300.
